Mobile Hearing Testing - Options

Mobile Hearing Testing

Combine our basic mobile testing service with any or all of these options to get the service you desire. For ultimate peace of mind, select the entire suite and leave everything to us.

On-board Notification Letters

We will issue written notification on our unit to all workers, or if you prefer, only those with a Standard Threshold Shift (STS) as mandated by OSHA. This saves you having to disburse the notifications and collect employee signatures yourself when you receive them from our office as part of our basic service. This satisfies part of OSHA’s STS follow-up requirements. Combine this with our STS counseling to cover all regulatory requirements for STS follow-up.

STS Counseling

We will counsel those experiencing a Standard Threshold Shift (STS) in the importance of hearing protection and refit their hearing protectors. This satisfies part of OSHA’s STS follow-up requirements. Please note that STS counseling requires on-board notification letters.

Worker Training

Our unit staff will train your workers in the use and fit of hearing protectors as required by OSHA regulations. We first show a brief video, followed by a fitting demonstration. We will document all worker training and provide you with a copy for your records.

Preprinted Audiogram Forms

For each worker we will provide a form with his or her demographic information. This saves each worker several minutes when completing the form prior to testing and improves the accuracy of the results.

Work Relatedness Determinations

Our audiological staff will complete a comprehensive review of a worker’s audiometric case to determine if an OSHA Recordable Shift is occupationally related. Non-occupational determinations may be lined off the OSHA 300 Log as such determinations are deemed unrelated to workplace noise exposure.
