What You Can Expect

The standard course of mobile testing is as follows:

1. Our unit arrives and parks at your designated spot
2. Our technicians prepare the unit for testing, including hooking it to two separate 110 volt circuits
3. Our technicians prep the training area, if necessary
4. For each testing group:
   • The workers enter the training area (if training desired)
   • One of our technicians performs the training (if training desired)
   • The workers complete their demographic forms
   • The workers go to the unit for testing
   • The next group files in for training (if training desired)
   • The testing takes about 10 minutes
   • After testing we counsel any STS cases (if STS counseling desired)
   • After testing we issue notification letters (if on-board letters desired)
5. Our technicians provide you with a list of everyone who tested and those with Standard Threshold Shifts.
6. Our technicians transmit the testing data to our office for audiological review
7. After our audiology staff has reviewed your tests, you may view your results and get our standard reports and any other reports you desire from our MyTKGroup website. We notify you by email when your data is ready.
